IT CAME!!!
WOO!! PURPLE FOLDER!
This wonderful thing FINALLY came yesterday! :D Pretty good Easter present if you ask me!
I will admit though, I was slightly disappointed that 1) it didn't have ANYTHING in it I didn't know... and 2) The pay amount is less than what I was told I would be making on the phone by almost a whole dollar....
oh well :p
It still came and the days are getting closer! :D I can't wait to go down there!

Carnegie Plaza, since thats our only option!

It honestly doesn't matter :) Whatever works
10. Do you like to party? Will you be hosting parties in your apartment?:
I'll be in wellness so our parties will consist of martenellis (a tradition me and my girls here party with) and movies :)
I like parties, but I don't go to them very often

Oh man, anything Italian I LOOOVE. However, I suck at cooking because i have the best cook in the world (my mom) living with me! lol. I shall be learning how to cook these next 5 months

13. What kind of music/movies do you like?:
Music: basically anything but rap and most country. I grew up on the 80s tunes and have been in and out of bands (oh btw, i'll be bringing a guitar and a ukulele along with me!) and love all the indie music out there
Movies: I'll admit, i LOOOOVE blood and gore! the more gruesome the better >:D
and of course all things Disney!

honestly i'm a bit of both. if I have to be somewhere the next day I'll be a morning person, otherwise I'm up til 2-3 in the AM! lol

play music with my bf, xbox (i'm a video game nerd, the xbox and TV will be coming too! lol), mess around with dangerous animals (i have a pet shark, a few eels, and a lion fish!) watch movies and have martenelli partys :)

Meeting new people fersure! and the fact that i'll be out of modesto! WOOOO!

as often as everyone else likes :) I love having people over to hangout and watch movies or play video games with. I'm used to having about 6-7 guys around (my band and then the bf and his friends lol) doing nada :) Plus Brent is waiting to hear back from DLR and if he gets accepted he will probably be over a lot A LOT :D
41. I absolutely could not live with a roommate that:
advances on me sexually? I love my bf, and don't want people who are going to try to advance... idk if thats a problem with Disney but I'd like to avoid it.
Also, obsessive cussing is not something I find entertaining or fun to live with

depends on how late i was up the following night, I'm really just a go-with-the-flow sorta gal :)

When Daisy met Donald
A few days ago we went to the Disney Store and came across the new Pook-a-Looz, I have a few already from other places but the DS had a lot of different ones. I bought myself a piglet (his huge ears are adorable) and then decided later on after work that I wanted to get our puppy Daisy one to play with.
It was a decision between Donald and Pluto. The family said to get her Pluto, but I decided because she was Daisy it was only fitting to get her a Donald.
It was supposed to be an Easter present, but she is just so cute that I couldn't wait to give her a new toy to play with. She actually didn't know what to do with him at first, but I believe he is now one of her favorites :)

Food Time!
Hey guys!
Since I'm not much of a cook (i prefer to bake, roomies, prepare for lots of baked goods LOL) I've decided to start learning some of my favorite snacks and meals from my mom! I've really been craving our Deviled Eggs, so today we boiled some up and made some! WOO!
I'm going to share my family recipes with you guys, I'll probably post something different once a week :D So just look for the title called "Food Time!" the name of the food will probably be at the end!
So here is some pictures and directions on how to make our yummy deviled eggs!
THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
Mayo
Mustard
Garlic Powder
Lemon Juice or Lemon Pepper
Paprika
Pickle Relish
6-12 Boiled Eggs
Sea Salt
Pepper
TO MAKE THESE EGGS:
First cut your boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks into a separate bowl. Set the whites aside, we will get to those later.
After you have removed all the yolks mush them up with a fork until it is crumbly looking.
Then you will mix in 1-2 tablespoons of mayo, or until the consistency of the eggs and mayo is creamy.
Add ONE small drop of mustard for flavor.
Mix this up a bit, then add in 3 drops of Lemon Juice or a dash of Lemon Pepper (either works).
Add in half a teaspoon of Relish and stir!
Sprinkle a dash of Garlic Powder, Salt, and Pepper.
Now you're ready to mix it all together!
After mixing it all up grab a spoon and add the yolk mixture back into the egg halves.
Now for the final touch, sprinkle Paprika all over the eggs and WAAAALAAAA! DEVILED EGGS!
They should look something like this
If they do you have successfully made my familys deviled eggs :) ENJOY! :D

Interview time for Brent!
Today Brent (my sweet handsome loving other half) had his interview with Disneyland! :D He said it went GREAT! YAAAAYY *does a happy dance* I'm so happy for him and now I ask all of you to send some prayers his way that he'll be allowed into the program!
He said his interviewer was really nice and asked him straightforward questions, unlike mine. She asked about why he wants to work there and how would he re-act to room-mates and if he was in custodial how he would like cleaning up after people. His answers were spot on! Since he has a larger family he is perfectly used to having tons of people around and cleaning up after them :)
I'm pretty sure he'll get in. I'm really excited right now... as this begins the countdown to the response!

Disney Classes
Hello there!
Today I decided I should get online and start actually looking at what classes Disney has to offer me while I'm down there!
I'm really interested in the Marketing You class! It seems like it would be a really neat class and I've heard wonderful things about it! Plus its 3 units!
I'm hoping that MJC will be willing to give me the full 12 units I will be taking there. According to Disney the work part of our job is also counted as units. If you work for 6-7 months you get a full 9 units! Well, I plan on being there the entire time, so I hope to also get those 9 units... Which would bring me to 12! Full time! WOO! Bad part, I have no clue if JC will take the units.... There are quite a few posters up over campus and I have a meeting scheduled with a counselor there but its not for another month... OH! And I forgot to request it off from work Dx *writes that down on to do list*.
Its been day 10 today since I got my phone call acceptance, but still no purple folder. I want that dang thing to come!! LOL. I've been checking the mail as soon as I get home JUST to see if theres anything there for me.... just bills. :p Which is the opposite of what I'm looking for...
OH and back to the classes, does anyone know if FAFSA is still eligible if you go to school in Disney? Thats pretty much how I live because my work place currently doesn't have very many hours for us (i get about 3.5-8 hours a week if I'm lucky).
On a completely random note, tomorrow at Forever 21 (where I work) we launch our new TWIST line... which is all Alice in Wonderland themed! Can you say STOKED? Our TWIST lines are usually my favorite so I'm hoping for some new stuff to hopefully take down to Disney with me!
Anyways, if you guys know the answer to any of my questions please comment me!
